Next Level Officials Association Officiating Agreement. Next Level Officials Association Officiating Agreement As a condition of the offering and acceptance of any and all officiating assignments from Next Level Officials Association, (NLOA) the official herby agrees:
1. To be registered with and be a member in good standing with the Illinois High School Athletic Association (IHSA) as defined by IHSA.
2. To serve as an independent contractor and not as an employee of any Athletic Conference or member school for which NLOA assigns athletic contests.
3. To follow the bylaws of the NLOA Constitution in regards to professionalism in all aspects of officiating, including before, during, and after all assignments as well as off the court or field.
4. To hold any and all NLOA assignors harmless for any and all liability for any personal injury or property damage sustained as a result of any officiating assignment.
5. To dress business casual to all sporting events, NO sweat pants!!!!
6. That any officiating assignment is subject to re-assignment as to site or game (within the limits of the same date and similar travel distance) when the assignor deems it to be in the best interest of the affected League, Conference, NLOA member, or NLOA.
7. Official agrees to arrive at any scheduled assignment at least 45 minutes prior to game time. The first offense is a written warning, second offense is a two game suspension from contract, and third offense is termination of contract.
8. Official agrees to attend 6 of 8 scheduled training meetings for each registered sport. Any of the following will also qualify as attending a training meeting: working a scrimmage or other qualified event agreed to by the trainer or assignor for that sport, attending a NLOA camp for the given sport, or making a training presentation in that sport.
9. The official must make a personal commitment to be knowledgeable of the rules and officiating mechanics in their respective sport(s). The official should be prepared both physically and mentally during the period they are working games as prescribed by IHSA and be a member in good standing as defined by NLOA.
10. The Assignor has the right to cancel any game assignments if the official does not comply with the conditions outlined in this agreement or fails to fulfill any assignment. Game assignments must not be re-assigned by the contracted official without prior permission by the respective sport assignor.
11. This agreement remains in effect and active while the official is a member of Next Level Officials Association (NLOA).
12. Violations of this agreement may be reported to the Illinois High School Athletic Association (IHSA).
